The young lady at the reception greeted me with a beautiful smile, and immediately asked me if I would like water, coffee or tea. Fatima helped me get out of a little pickle. I had just got my grays covered, but a few spots were missed and I was about to leave to go out of town. Unfortunately, it was during the week before Thanksgiving, also known as the busiest week in a salon, of corse. There was no one available at the salon I used to go to, but Fatima wanted to help me, so she found some time and got me in that same day! She not only took such great care of me, but her assistant gave me a free facial massage and a deep conditioner because they were sorry about my past experience, even though it wasn't even at their location!!!! Hands down, the very best treatment I've ever received at a salon, ever. She kept reassuring me she would make it right. I wish the other location would of done the same. Fatima, you have a forever client now. People in this world need more compassion and businesses do too. If you make a mistake, fix it! Fix it well, and if you want your client to come back and be happy, do more than just fix it.

Despite challenges outside of their control at the location where my appointment was initially scheduled, all involved handled the situation professionally and efficiently. They contacted me and requested that I meet the same stylist at a different salon. It worked out very well and everyone was great! My stylist, Steve, did a great job. He is very thorough and detail oriented. He took time with me during the consultation period to discuss what I wanted and explained what my hair would do and what it likely wouldn't do! I greatly appreciate that!! I highly recommend. They are pricey but worth it.

This is my 3rd time at Joseph and Friends in Milton. I had a disaster haircut from Bob Steele Salon in Alpharetta, and Sousan fixed it and I loved it. The second time I went to Elizabeth for a blowout and she did such a great job- so I went back to her for a cut and style for my 3rd visit. I'm not really sure if I like the cut yet or not and I think that's because of how she blow dried my hair- not like the last blowout at all. It feels really dry and brittle at the end, not soft, no volume at the roots and it felt like she rushed it- not sure if she needed to get back to her other client who was getting color. I definitely felt rushed. I'll go back here again because I had a great experience the first two visits but if I'm not happy next time I probably won't return.

I had a hairdresser in Fayetteville, GA that was treating my hair for over 15 years. I moved from Fayetteville, GA to Cumming, GA in November 2012. Until I met Elizabeth I drove over 2 hours every 2 weeks in order to get my hair treated. I had an appointment with Elizabeth, and I was referred by a friend. Unfortunately, when I rescheduled my appointment, it was listed for just cut, not color as well. After consulting her schedule, Elizabeth thought she could do my color instead of a cut, as that was more important to me. Amazingly, Elizabeth was so efficient and juggled her clients so perfectly, without neglecting anyone, that she was able to cut and dry my hair as well!! I am NEVER going back to this salon!! I recently went to the salon in Milton Georgia for the first time this past Friday. I showed the stylist a certain cut/style I wanted and she totally BUTCHERED MY HAIR!!! She cut my hair much shorter than I requested and I have huge chunks everywhere, one side is shorter than the other!! This list can go on & on..... I am not sure what she was looking or what she was thinking when you look at the picture I showed her!! I am totally embarrassed to go to work tomorrow with my hair looking this way!! I will have to find & pay another salon to fix this mess!!!

My daughter and I visited Joseph and Friends for the first time recently and it was a wonderful experience. The staff and the stylists were super friendly and attentive. I had my haircut by Susan and couldn't be more excited with the results. I feel like I look years younger. She's a magician. My daughter has crazy long, long hair and decided to have it dyed a beautiful, exotic red. Her stylist was Hayley and I can't express enough how amazing this young woman is. She was so enthusiastic, funny and kind, not to mention brilliant with her work. She is such an artist and my daughter's hair looks simply phenomenal. I highly recommend both Susan and Hayley. I went in to Joseph & Friends unsure of what I wanted to do with my hair, during my consultation they listened to what I wanted, what I currently liked about my hair and what I didn't like. The hair cut is usually great and the full treatment is what keeps me coming back.However, I have had problems with the management and scheduling. I've been double booked multiple times and bumped out of my time slot once. This time, management had a "meeting" that delayed my haircut nearly 30 minutes.After receiving multiple e-mails and texts for me to show up for my appointment on time; it's hilarious that I had to wait so long. It was not a busy time of the day and the place was nearly empty.Because of this, my hair cut was rushed (about 12 minutes instead of the usual 30-45) and I did not receive my normal treatment.Even so Fay did a great job for the time allotted.

My experience with the stylist was good but my experience with front desk was not good. I was buying travel size products and the person at the front desk told me that if I buy 3 I can get 1 free. So I picked up 4 products and did the checkout. When I saw the total amount it did not seem right, so I asked the lady to give me an itemized receipt. The moment I asked her that , she said she had made a mistake and had charged me for the 4 th product and will take it off. So it was clear that she knew she had made a mistake but she did not bring it up until I caught it . Then instead of crediting that amount to my card she ended up charging that amount again, which she realized and then took off both the amounts finally. Mistakes happen, but I was not happy that she was not upfront with that.

Getting the free brow wax was nice. I added on an upper lip wax. However, I realized when I got home that my eyebrows were completely uneven...not sure if the girl was new or what. Also, Susan was awesome (color and cut), but the girl (i think the same girl that did the waxing) washed out my hair and it was not pleasant. She was pulling my hair left and right out of the foils, and the entire experience was not pleasant and relaxing as one would want ot a shampoo. And the entire back of my shirt was wet when I got up. Pretty disappointed in that.,

I have curly hair and it's hard to find a good stylist. When I've visited other salons, I feel like a number. I was promptly greeted by Sam who always makes you feel welcome and valued. My stylist came to greet me and she is just wonderful. She listens to my concerns and discusses options with me. Elizabeth did a wonderful job with cutting and styling my hair. Joseph was working on a client next to me and came over to me to say hello. It's a great atmosphere and not stuffy. You feel welcomed and not a number. I went to a salon that I felt like I was seen as a dollar sign and they always tried to upsell me. At J&F, I've never been pushed to buy anything. Wonderful and attentive staff and great atmosphere.

The last visit to the Milton location was terrible. My appointment with Lisa was cancelled. She walked out. I was given another hair dresser, but had to wait 1 1/2 hours and did not get the service I asked for. I wanted base, highlights and cut. My base was way to dark, almost black and I did not get highlights or a haircut. The location was very much in array.

I am happy with my hair cut and color! However, I asked for a partial highlight and cut. When I went to pay they charged me for a 3/4 foil and a toner on top of what I had ordered. I felt like they should have asked me about this before adding that to my order. My hair cost much more than I anticipated.
