SPECIALTY STYLES ONLY: If you would like your hair shampooed before your appointment,
we ask that you notify the guest coordinator when you book you appointment. We will need to add 15 minutes to your appointment.
However, it is recommended that you shampoo your hair the night before rather than the day of your appointment.
This will give your specialty finish a stronger hold. Also, we recommend that you wear a button-up shirt so you do not have to
remove clothing over your hair and make-up.

Important steps to follow for at-home care and maintenance after your keratin hair straightening
- Please wait 4 days before washing your hair. During this time:
- Do not use clips, pins or any type of hair fasteners, no ponytails.
- If your hair gets wet or if you perspire quickly dry your hair to a sleek finish. Do not allow hair to dry naturally.
- You can blow dry your hair in the morning to smooth any kinks that might have occurred while you were sleeping. This will enhance your final result.
- You can expect 20-30% curl to come back in about 2-3 weeks
- Any chemical services such as color should be done day of Keratin Straightening or 7-10 days after
- If you go swimming in pools or sea water wash your hair with sulfite free shampoo and conditioner. Chlorine and Seawater will break down the Keratin.
- The treatment should last approximately 3-4 months before you need to reapply.
You must use sulfite free shampoos and conditioners the shampoos that Aveda recommends that do not have sulfite are: Rosemary Mint, Damage Remedy, Men's Pureformance

Joseph and Friends offers different types of conditioning treatments for your hair. Whether your hair needs strengthening or moisture, our specialists are here to make your hair healthy and beautiful.
The Botanical Hair & Scalp TherapySM is Aveda's "facial for hair," a holistic approach to healthy
hair and scalp. The full service begins with an aroma-therapeutic Balancing Touch Massage customized to
treat the guest's scalp condition and balance their mood. Next, the hair is repaired with a professionally prescribed, botanically
based treatment that improves hair's condition by up to 71%,
while the guest is treated to a Stress-Relieving Hand Ritual. Finally, the treatment is rinsed out of the hair and styled.
The Full Spectrum Gloss utilizes Aveda's demi-permanent hair color. Aveda Full SpectrumTM hair color is up to 99% naturally derived; infused with conditioning plant oils for shinier, healthier-looking color. The treatment formula actually improves the condition of damaged hair. The rosy, lavender aroma elevates the color service to a soothing, sensory experience. The formula contains a natural anti-oxidant to protect hair against UV aggression. Color gradually fades on tone.
Our Specialists can also choose any of Aveda's other conditioning treatments such as: Dry Remedy Moisturizing Treatment, Color Conserve Strengthening Treatment, Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment.

the service of hair extensions for over 20 years. We specialize in both synthetic & human hair extensions and use only the finest quality hair.

extensions are right for you. Each location offers different types of extensions. Hair extension prices are available by consultation only. Appointments and deposits are required for hair extension services.

Joseph & Friends Hair Stylists have self propelled career paths, within the company. Each Hair Stylist employed by Joseph & Friends, begins his or her career path as a Stylist. Bi-annual benchmarks, then, assist in promoting from the Stylist level, to Senior Stylist and on to Master Stylist. These promotions are based on each Hair Stylists individual advancement in experience, client retention and team work.

Our Relaxing Waxing rituals provide effective hair removal while ensuring maximum comfort. Make sure to let us know if you're using doctor prescribed skincare products or taking any medications such as Accutane or Retina-A, so we can check for contra-indications.
