We frequently say that it takes a believer in oneself and then in others to achieve greatness. Our Education Team travels the world to bring some of the latest styles and techniques to our staff. The Joseph & Friends Academy was established to demonstrate our commitment to education.
For the Hair Department, we have created a comprehensive educational program, which prepares our professionals with advanced techniques and procedures in their given specialties. BootCamp is taught by some of the elite professionals in the industry who have a passion for what they do. After one month of employment with Joseph & Friends, every stylist attends our BootCamp. BootCamp is an intense four to five week training consists of one week of cutting education, one week of color education and one week of demonstrating what they've learned by bringing in models. After graduation, the stylist is promoted and then attends weekly Advanced Education Classes for two more months. It is after this period, that the stylist has graduated the Academy and continues their education with other stylists.
For the Spa Department, we work closely with Aveda Purefessionals to educate our Team Members on the latest spa techniques and rituals. Our Spa Managers have years of experience and take great pride in sharing and growing our new Team Members.
